Mixed, Mixed, Mixed Wraparound

This assignment was for my Intro to Radio course. We were required to develop an original news story and create a "mixed wraparound" for radio. A mixed wraparound entails having an audio clip at the beginning to peak the interest of the listener followed by interview clips, and the journalist giving some info, and finished up with more audio. Vancouver's Winter Farmer's market was opening and I thought I would head down, check it out, and see if I could get some good audio.
I woke up very early (for me) on a Saturday and went to the market. As soon as I walked in there was a stage with two people playing fiddles and singing. I recorded that and then walked around and asked the different booth operators to tell me about what they were selling. I also talked to one of the organizers of the market.
For this assignment I was using my brand new digital recorder for the first time, and of course I somehow managed to loose 95% of what I had recorded. I am finding out that as a journalist, things rarely go as planned.
I managed to put something together even without most of my material. Here is the finished product.
Special thanks to Amanda C. for the intro.
